【高齡韌性論壇：研究、政策與實務】
當我們都老了，是否依然能保持韌性？ 隨著台灣快速邁入高齡化，長者的孤獨與社會疏離成為重要議題。清大韌性研究中心特邀英國與台灣的學者及實務工作者，從跨國視角探討高齡者的社會參與、健康變化與孤寂感，並聚焦於社會韌性與在地安老的可能路徑。 我們特別邀請英國布魯內爾大學（Brunel University of London, UK）特聘教授Christina Victor發表專題演講，與專家們交流不同文化下的老化經驗。 論壇將以台灣與英國的老化長期追蹤調查為基礎，並分享英國疫情期間開始推動的「快樂聊天（Happy to Chat）」方案如何促進社區韌性。

Abstract
As Taiwan transitions into an aging society, the issue of loneliness among older adults has become increasingly severe. Key contributing factors include changes in family structure, urbanization, children moving away from home, the loss of relatives and friends, declining health, and unfamiliarity with digital technologies, all of which reduce social interaction and intensify the feelings of isolation. Given that aging-related issues are becoming an increasingly important component of the development for social resilience, the Center for Resilience Research has invited scholars from the United Kingdom and Taiwan to engage in academic discussions on research and practical issues related to aging societies.
This forum brings together researchers and practitioners from Taiwan and the UK to exchange insights on ageing, loneliness, and social resilience. Drawing on comparative evidence from the Taiwan Longitudinal Study of Ageing and the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing, we ask: how do…
