Nila A. Windasari

Bio

Nila Armelia Windasari is currently an Assistant Professor at School of Business and Management - Bandung Institute of Technology (SBM – ITB). Dr. Nila received her Bachelor in Accounting from Universitas Airlangga - Indonesia (2012), MBA from Asia University (2014) and PhD from the Institute of Service Science, National Tsing Hua University (2018). She was also a visiting researcher at Hofstra University, NY – USA. She received several prestigious awards, such as Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society Award (2018), Best PhD Dissertation by Service Science Society (s3tw) (2018), AMA SERVSIG-Gabelli Travel Scholarship (2019), Young Service Researcher Awards by IRSSM 10 (2019) and ITB Faculty Research Award (2022).

Dr. Nila is currently a member of the Center of Islamic Business and Finance. She was also the Director for International Relations SBM ITB from 2019-2021. Before going to academia, Nila was an external auditor in MAZARS Indonesia. She also was an academic tutor for Indonesia Open University (UT) - Taipei branch, an open university for Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan  from 2013-2017. Her research interests lie in the broad areas of service research: technology-enabled service, service marketing, and customer experience to explore individuals’ behavior in experiencing technology to improve his/her wellbeing, applied into several areas including healthcare, education, and hospitality.

Her works were published in International Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Service Industries Journal, Technology in Society, and other peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Nila teaches courses on various marketing and branding topics to undergraduate and graduate students, online and on-ground. She also supervised more than twenty bachelor and master students with various topics on marketing and service research.
