Bio
I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Service Science, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, and the Co-Director of the Digital Work Lab in New Zealand. I also serve as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Information Management, Wellington School of Business and Government, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. I hold a PhD in Management (Information Systems concentration) from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University, Canada.
My research interests span human-AI collaboration, the use, implementation, and management of information systems (IS) and technologies (IT), agile and humanistic approaches to IS development, as well as agility and resilience in IS/IT project and team management. I also focus on theories and theory building in my research.
Previously, I served as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington. I have extensive experience in academic service, including roles as Associate Editor for Communications of the Association for Information Systems and Editorial Board Member for major international conferences. I have chaired multiple tracks and workshops in conferences such as PACIS, ECIS, and ICIS.
I teach courses such as Organizational Behavior, Programming for Data-driven Systems, and Service Science Theory. My work has been published in journals like IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and International Journal of Information Management. I have received several awards, including the Outstanding Associate Editor Award from ICIS and the Young Scholar Award from National Tsing Hua University.
