Countries worldwide that are seeking innovation-driven economic growth face the increasing complexity and uncertainty of grand societal challenges. In Singapore, the MOIP was designed to ensure that it is fit for future.
In 2020, the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources was renamed to Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) to reflect its new role because sustainability has become an increasingly important part of its national agenda. The new MSE would focus on building a clean and sustainable environment, and ensuring resilient supply of safe food and water. Using the example of innovations in the agri-food sector, the speaker will present how Singapore successfully transformed public organizations to be fit for resilience.
