Szu-Yin Lin

Professor Stan Lin is currently a professor in the Department of Management Science at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), with an office located in Room 308, Management Building I. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Management from National Chiao Tung University (2008–2012) and conducted a research visit at Coventry University’s Faculty of Engineering and Computing in 2012. Throughout his academic career, he has held teaching and administrative positions at National Ilan University and Chung Yuan Christian University, including serving as Vice Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Director of the AI Master's Program at National Ilan University.
 

Professor Lin’s research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Data Analysis, Smart Web Service Computing, and Intelligent Information Systems. His current teaching portfolio includes graduate courses such as Data Mining, AI Research, and Machine and Deep Learning Applications, as well as undergraduate courses like Management Information Systems, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
 

Professor Lin has received multiple prestigious awards, including research grants from NSTC and outstanding teaching recognitions. He is also a dedicated mentor, guiding students to achieve numerous national and international accolades in competitions related to AI, image recognition, smart transportation innovations, and entrepreneurship.
